We Started With A Simple Question

Why does everyone hate financial planning?

Back in 2019, Eli was working late again. Tax season. Receipts everywhere. Sticky notes with dates scribbled on them. Missing a payment deadline cost him sleep and money. He thought there had to be a better way.

So he called his mate Rachel. She'd been through the same mess running her own consultancy. Together, they mapped out what actually matters when you're trying to stay on top of money stuff without losing your mind.

Building Something That Actually Works

Most financial planning feels like homework. Or worse, like you need an accounting degree just to understand when to pay what.

We wanted something different. A resource that talks to real people who just want clarity about their financial calendar without the jargon overload.

Started small in early 2020. Tested with friends running small businesses across Victoria. Got honest feedback. Made changes. Tested again. By mid-2021, we had something people actually used.

Now we help hundreds of Australians understand their financial timelines. Tax dates, payment schedules, quarter-end planning. The stuff that matters when you're trying to run a business or manage household finances.

How We Think About Financial Calendars

Our approach isn't revolutionary. It's just practical. We break down the year into manageable chunks and help you understand what matters when.

Quarter-based planning timeline visualization

Quarter-Based Planning

We organize everything around quarters because that's how most financial obligations actually work. Makes it easier to see patterns and prepare ahead of time.

Australian Context

Everything's built around how things actually work here. ATO deadlines, financial year structure, BAS timing. No US-centric advice that doesn't apply.

Plain language financial guidance materials

Plain Language

We skip the accounting speak. If something's important, we explain it like you're talking to a friend over coffee. Clear deadlines, simple explanations, no fluff.
